Thank you for your willingness to serve the Lord through TEL International Short-Term Mission program. Your commitment to use your time and talents in leadership is greatly appreciated and will surely bless you, your team, and those you serve. You perform a vital role in our short-term mission program and may be instrumental in helping us achieve our initiatives to send three missions teams from North American churches to serve people groups in the Republic of Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Jamaica.
Putting our faith into action is at the very heart of our Christian calling to be in mission, and reaching out in mission locally and globally. Regardless of where we are in our spiritual journey, as Christians, we are privileged and at the same time expected to be active participants in God’s mission work in the world. Whether young or aged, rich are poor, man or woman, lay or clergy, we are called by God to serve.
The leaders resource manual has been compiled to assist team leaders, church liaisons, and those in leadership positions tasked with the work of preparing teams to serve across the globe, and helping them go beyond their comfort zone, experience the joy of serving, and grow closer to Christ. It is best used in conjunction with a complete leader’s manual, such as those prepared by organizations that conduct team preparation and leader training. Contact TEL International for additional information regarding team preparation and leader training.
Your input is valuable and appreciated. If you have questions or suggestions for additional material or topics you feel would be beneficial if included, please contact TEL International. We are grateful for your desire to serve the Lord through TEL International. May He bless you and your team greatly as you prepare for your mission experience, and as you share the love of Jesus Christ with those you serve. Let the Lord be glorified in all we do.
