Faithful individuals and churches have given, often sacrificially, to advance the kingdom of God through TEL International Mission Society. We rely on these faithful few to continue reaching the nations for Christ. Our financial partners are equally as important as those who serve on a foreign field. Without faithful people and churches that are willing to invest in eternity by giving to missions or supporting a missionary, it would be impossible to continue our work.
GIVING THROUGH PRAYER – Prayer is the greater work in the Kingdom of God. We are not large, nor strong, nor wise. We exist by the gracious hand of our Master. We depend upon your prayers more than any other benefit you may give. Our greatest desire is that you might continue to lift us up to the Father in the Name of the Son and in the power of the Holy Spirit. We often think of the financial dependence a missionary has on a church, but there is much more to it than that. Paul often talked about the church praying for missionaries so that the missionary could accomplish his work. In 2 Thessalonians 3 Paul says that the church should pray for the missionaries so that God’s Word would be effective and glorified in the lives of the believers. He also said that the missionaries needed protection from the world and from wicked men. Paul implied that without the prayers of the churches he and his missionary team could not do the work God called them to do.
GIVING THROUGH UNDESIGNATED FINANCIAL SUPPORT – All undesignated giving is directed to our general fund and is used to the glory of God for the advancement of His Kingdom. The General Fund is the backbone of TEL International Missionary Society and is our top prayer priority. Apart from these needs being met, TEL International cannot function. All donations given to the General Fund go to the following: missionary support, administrative cost, and U.S staff support.
GIVING THROUGH DESIGNATED SUPPORT TO A SPECIFIC MINISTRY – We recognize that our donors may have a special burden for certain aspects of our missionary work that extend beyond the support of missionaries. There are several ways to which designated support can be given:
- Clean Water Projects
- Medical Missions Outreach
- Bibles and Christian Literature
- Adopt-A-School Program
- Self Help Initiative
GIVING THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP – Gifts donated through the gift shop helps to support our global missions and outreach efforts. All contributions designated for specific funds will be applied to those projects.
