At TEL International, we believe that no child should have to choose between hunger and education. That’s why one of the core components of our mission involves providing daily meals to children in the community schools we support. For many of these students, the food they receive at school is not just a supplement—it is their only meal of the day.

Our Feeding and Nutrition Program is designed to address this critical need. By ensuring that children are fed regularly and nutritiously, we are doing more than just filling empty stomachs—we are actively promoting school attendance, boosting academic performance, and nurturing healthy physical development. When children are well-nourished, they are better able to focus, learn, and grow into their full potential. But our commitment doesn’t stop at the school gates.

We also extend our support to vulnerable children living in orphanages and care centers. In many cases, these facilities are operated by dedicated individuals and organizations who provide shelter, emotional support, and education but often lack the resources to consistently provide adequate nutrition. TEL International partners with such orphan care programs—those with a proven track record of compassion and commitment—and helps supply the food assistance they need to continue their important work. Through these targeted efforts, TEL International is not only fighting hunger, but also creating a more stable, supportive environment for children in need. By addressing one of the most fundamental human necessities—food—we are laying the groundwork for healthier, brighter futures. Because when a child is fed, a mind is freed to learn.
