In many communities, inadequate school infrastructure and limited learning spaces outside the classroom significantly disrupt children’s education. Students are often exposed to harsh weather conditions—strong winds, intense sun, cold temperatures, and heavy rainfall—which makes learning difficult and unsafe. These challenges severely affect students’ ability to concentrate, resulting in poor academic performance and, in many cases, school failure.
The construction of six new classrooms will significantly reduce the reliance on unsafe and inadequate learning spaces. In addition to proper classrooms, suitable school desks will be provided to ensure students have a comfortable and structured learning environment. These improvements are expected to encourage regular school attendance while fostering greater self-esteem, confidence, and long-term aspirations among students. The learning experience will be further enhanced through the establishment of a library, giving children access to books and resources that support literacy, independent study, and academic growth.
The project also includes the installation of solar-powered electricity, which is essential for reliable lighting, extended learning hours, and the effective use of educational resources such as computers and teaching aids. Improved sanitary toilet facilities will be constructed, alongside comprehensive WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) training that promotes healthy practices, dignity, and safety—particularly for girls—while significantly reducing illness-related absences and creating a cleaner, more supportive school environment for both students and staff.
Once completed, more than 300 children will benefit from a school equipped with six new classrooms, a library, reliable electricity, and adequate sanitation facilities. This improved and child-friendly learning environment will lead to higher attendance rates, better academic outcomes, and a stronger appreciation for the value of education within the community. Importantly, students’ overall health—especially that of girls—will improve as a result of safer, cleaner, and more dignified sanitary facilities. Together, these enhancements will create a foundation for sustained educational success and brighter futures for the children served, empowering them with safe learning environments, resources, and the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually for years to come.
