In the midst of struggle and persecution, there is hope in our Haitian schools. There are approximately 400 students attending our schools, and by this time next year, we trust it will be over 500 in a brand new facility. Located in Labranle (a communal section in northwestern Haiti) and Pernier (situated in Ouest, Haiti) these schools are reaching whole families through their educational curriculum. In addition to teaching Scripture verses, the programs at our schools are specifically geared to give them an opportunity to invite Jesus Christ into their hearts as Savior. The schooling system seems to be their escape from poverty, so it has a high premium.
