In the Great Commission, Jesus not only gave His followers a clear directive—“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”—He also laid out the method by which this mission should be carried out: “teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This twofold command underscores that disciple-making is not just about reaching the lost but about grounding them in truth. At the heart of our mission is the belief that theological education plays a crucial role in fulfilling this call. We are not committed to theological training for the sake of academics alone, but because we believe it is a powerful tool to shape leaders with spiritual vision, moral integrity, and the competence required to lead God’s people and spread the Gospel with faithfulness and clarity.
Jesus Himself modeled this principle by investing in twelve men—His disciples. Rather than reaching the multitudes directly, He equipped a small group of leaders, teaching and walking with them intimately, preparing them to carry His message to the ends of the earth. This method remains the most effective and enduring model for church growth. We believe that by focusing on training pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders, we are sowing into the kind of leadership multiplication that leads to lasting transformation in communities and churches. These leaders then become faithful stewards of the Gospel, bringing sound teaching, compassionate shepherding, and spiritual maturity to the people they serve.
Our investment in leadership development centers on both spiritual formation and practical ministry skills. We emphasize core aspects of faithful ministry such as personal devotion to Christ, sound expository preaching, fervent intercessory prayer, sacrificial service, bold evangelism, and intentional discipleship. Through these practices, we help leaders grow in both their calling and their capacity to serve effectively.
To support this growth, we implement several key methods of training. These include character development through intentional discipleship relationships, Bible conferences that provide spiritual renewal and doctrinal teaching, the distribution of pastoral libraries filled with essential biblical and theological resources, and ongoing theological training that helps leaders rightly divide the Word of truth. These efforts are all aimed at one central goal: to strengthen the Church by equipping those called to lead it. In doing so, we are not simply expanding the Church’s reach—we are deepening its roots.
