A Blueprint for Making Disciples

A Blueprint for Making Disciples

The model Jesus used to expand His Church was both simple and profoundly effective—He poured Himself into twelve key leaders. Rather than reaching the masses directly through spectacle or sheer numbers, He chose to disciple a small group of men, equipping them with truth, character, and spiritual authority. Through this investment, the foundation of the global Church was laid. At the heart of our mission is the conviction that this same model remains the most sustainable and fruitful approach to church growth today. That’s why we intentionally focus on developing and equipping pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders who can, in turn, pour into the communities they serve with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

At TEL International our leadership training is not just about transferring knowledge, but about shaping individuals who embody the heart of Christ in both word and deed. We prioritize areas such as personal faith development, expository preaching that rightly divides the Word, intercessory prayer rooted in spiritual authority, sacrificial service that models Christ’s humility, bold personal evangelism, and intentional discipleship that multiplies spiritual maturity. These aren’t just ministry techniques—they are the core expressions of a life wholly surrendered to God.

To support and sustain this vision, we implement a variety of training methods. We emphasize character development through intentional discipleship relationships that foster accountability and spiritual growth. Bible conferences serve as opportunities for renewal, deepening theological understanding, and connecting leaders with one another. We also provide pastoral libraries filled with essential biblical and theological resources—tools that many leaders around the world would otherwise never have access to. Finally, we offer structured theological training to equip leaders to teach sound doctrine and shepherd God’s people faithfully. In all of this, our goal remains clear: to strengthen the Church by investing in the people called to lead it. By following the pattern Jesus set, we not only train leaders—we build a legacy of faithful service that impacts families, congregations, and entire communities for generations to come.
