School Equipment for 400 Kids in Tanzania

TEL International is excited to announce plans to adopt a primary school in Minna, located in Niger State, Nigeria. This initiative is part of a broader effort to invest in the future of young learners by improving the quality of education and the overall learning environment.

Many primary schools in the Minna area face chronic underfunding, leaving classrooms without essential furniture and supplies. Students often sit on the floor or share inadequate seating, while teachers struggle to instruct effectively without proper blackboards or writing materials. Science education is particularly affected, with many schools lacking even the most basic tools needed to introduce students to hands-on learning and experimentation.

Through this project, TEL International—alongside its local partner aims to provide much-needed infrastructure support. This includes supplying desks, chairs, blackboards, and a range of school supplies that will immediately enhance classroom functionality. Additionally, efforts will be made to restore and update the school’s playground, giving children a safe and stimulating space for physical activity and social development.

By equipping the school with these resources, the project seeks to create a more structured, engaging, and inspiring environment for both students and teachers. Access to basic science supplies will also open the door for critical thinking and curiosity, encouraging students to explore the world around them through a scientific lens. Ultimately, this initiative is about more than furniture and materials—it’s about laying the groundwork for long-term educational growth and empowering a new generation of learners in Minna to dream, discover, and succeed.
