Typhoon Kristine has caused widespread flooding and landslides in northeast Philippines. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported that the typhoon has affected a total of 569,524 families, or 2,656,446 individuals. Of these, 239,200 individuals are currently sheltered in 5,791 evacuation centers across impacted regions. This project will support our partners in the Philippines and provide relief items, including hot meals and clothing, to affected communities.
The response to Typhoon Kristine is critical for the recovery of affected communities. By mobilizing resources and collaborating with local partners, we can provide essential support and help rebuild lives in the aftermath of this disaster. Together, we can make a meaningful difference. Our response aims to provide immediate relief to those affected through food, clothing, and shelter support.
