It’s Time to Seek Him

It’s Time to Seek Him

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. – Matthew 2:2

The Lord’s desire that people diligently seek Him comes at the very moment when it is truly time to diligently seek Him.

The Wise Men knew that it was time to diligently seek Him because they saw the signs in the sky. The heavens announced His coming. The sky sang His praises. The star spotlighted His coordinates. The world understood that the wait for its deliverance was over. Indeed, heaven and nature sang.

The shepherds knew that it was time to diligently seek Him because, at last, their own Shepherd had come. He was a Shepherd of shepherds. He was a Pastor of pastors. He was a Lord who loved the least. He was the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world.

Herod knew that it was time to diligently seek Him because he could sense that his time was up. Another king had been born who would replace him. Another king had arisen whose royalty would outlast him. Another king had come whose kingdom would swallow him. Though he sought Him to destroy Him, Herod was clear that people in power like him should know who Jesus is and where Jesus is at all times. For, He came to tear their kingdoms down.

You know that it is time to diligently seek Him because no one else will do. No one else can save us from our sins. No one else can save us from ourselves. No one else can save us from our societal situations. It is time to forsake the imposters. It is time to reject the pretenders. It is time to stop messing with the mundane. It is time to diligently seek Him. Christ has the answer. Christ is the answer.
