School Library for 650 Ugandan Students

School Library for 650 Ugandan Students

Recently 500 books were donated to the Agwata school in Northern Uganda. However, there is no library and no way for the students to access these resources. Similarly, the school has 3 laptops, access to solar power, but has no suitable secure space to store the laptops.

In response to this need TEL International and its partners will construct a library addition. The library will provide a secure place for 650 primary students to increase literacy and receive technological support. The room will provide storage for 1500 books, 3 solar-powered laptop workstations, plus a small storage area. Training will also be provided to both faculty and students on how to successfully navigate and access these resources.
