As hostilities against Christians continue in the Arab world, believers who reside in these areas are not allowing that to hamper evangelism. While being a Christian in these areas is difficult, we don’t want to see Arab Christians leave their homes. There’s always a temptation to leave and go to the west where there’s a lot less persecution, but we’re called to shine our lights where we are. Believers need to have a burden for their own country. It’s easy to strike up a conversation for hours at a time about religion, however, it takes time to reach the point of conversion. Prayer is essential for Arab Christians as they continue their work among their people.
