TEL International partners with indigenous churches and their leaders to identify and equip Spirit-filled men and women who are called to proclaim the gospel where Christ is not yet known and to establish biblical churches where none currently exist. By working alongside local believers who understand the language, culture, and needs of their communities, we help strengthen sustainable ministries that can faithfully carry the gospel for generations to come.
The body of Christ is made up of believers with diverse gifts and callings, each uniquely equipped to serve God’s Kingdom. Whether through evangelism, discipleship, teaching, leadership development, compassion ministries, or church planting, every ministry contributes to the shared mission of making disciples of all nations. At the heart of these efforts is the establishment of healthy, biblical churches that worship Christ, disciple believers, and become centers for ongoing gospel outreach, bringing hope, biblical truth, and lasting transformation to individuals, families, and entire communities.
Church planting in regions with little or no Christian witness remains one of the most strategic ways to fulfill the Great Commission. Millions of people around the world still have limited access to the gospel, few if any local churches, and little opportunity to hear the message of Jesus Christ. Establishing new congregations creates lasting communities of faith where believers can grow spiritually, receive biblical teaching, worship together, and reach others with the hope of the gospel. These churches become centers for discipleship, leadership development, compassionate ministry, and the multiplication of new churches.
Beyond meeting spiritual needs, indigenous churches often become catalysts for community transformation. They provide compassionate care for vulnerable families, encourage biblical values, promote education and leadership development, strengthen marriages and families, and mobilize local believers to serve their communities with Christlike love. As these churches mature, they multiply by raising up new leaders and planting additional churches, extending the reach of the gospel far beyond the original congregation.
