Surrendered for His Glory

Surrendered for His Glory

Every effort to serve Christ must begin with the recognition that, apart from Him, we are spiritually powerless and insufficient for true Christian service. No amount of personal ability, wisdom, strength, or determination can accomplish the work God desires unless it is empowered by Christ Himself working within us. Effective ministry flows not from self-reliance, but from complete dependence upon His strength, guidance, and grace.

As believers, we are called to continually surrender our own ambitions, pride, and self-sufficiency so that Christ may be fully exalted in our lives. Like John the Baptist declared, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” The more Christ rules within our hearts, the more His character, wisdom, and power are reflected through our words and actions. True spiritual fruit is produced only when we allow Him to work in and through us.

This humility is essential in every area of Christian service. Rather than seeking recognition or trusting in our own abilities, we are to serve with the understanding that all strength, effectiveness, and success come from God alone. As we decrease in self and yield more fully to Christ, His presence becomes more evident in our lives, enabling us to serve others with greater love, faithfulness, and spiritual power.
