When God Calls, Don’t Give Up

When God Calls, Don’t Give Up

When God calls us to fulfill His purpose, we should expect opposition to arise from various sources, including challenging circumstances. Our commitment to obeying Him may be tested by unexpected obstacles, disappointments, and hardships. Although these difficulties can be discouraging, they do not necessarily mean we have misunderstood God’s direction or that we should abandon the work He has placed before us.

Satan opposes the advancement of God’s kingdom and seeks to hinder the spread of the Gospel. He may use illness, delays, financial difficulties, and other trials to discourage believers and weaken their resolve. These challenges can distract us from our mission and tempt us to question whether we should continue pursuing the work God has called us to accomplish.

However, we must remember that following God does not guarantee a life free from adversity. Throughout Scripture, faithful servants of the Lord encountered tremendous resistance while carrying out His will. Their experiences remind us that obstacles are often part of the journey of faith, requiring us to depend on God’s strength, wisdom, and sustaining grace rather than our own abilities.

Therefore, we must remain steadfast when difficulties arise and refuse to allow opposition to derail our obedience to God. Through prayer, faith, and perseverance, we can trust Him to guide us through every challenge. When our commitment is tested, we should remember that the One who called us is faithful and able to equip us for the work ahead. Our circumstances may create obstacles, but they do not have to prevent us from fulfilling God’s purpose.
