He is Worth Finding

He is Worth Finding

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. – Matthew 2:9-10

It is not only time to diligently seek Christ. The effort to diligently seek Him is worth it. The trip is worth the time. The journey ends in joy. The search culminates in salvation. The sacrifice does not compare to the reward. The adversity pails in the face of the victory. Christ is worth seeking because Christ is worth finding. When we find Christ, we find . . .

A Savior whose death brings us life. (John 3:16)

A Sovereign who is a King of Kings and a Lord of Lords. (I Timothy 6:15)

A Son whose singular obedience to His Father reconciled the entire family of God to God. (Romans 5:19)

A Sacrifice who stood in our stead, took our place, paid our debt and set us free. (Romans 5:8)

A Servant who showed us how to lead in humility and be Lord without lording over. (Matthew 20:25-28)

A Supplier in whose coffers we can find more than all we need. (Philippians 4:19)

An All Sufficient friend whose mercy is matchless, whose forgiveness is endless and whose grace is priceless. (II Corinthians 12:9)

If you have not yet found Christ, please begin your diligent search now because He is well worth finding!
